Interface: StageDepotThreadPoolsProps
Defined in: packages/depot-cdk/src/stage-depot-environment.ts:350
Sizing for the Connector's internal thread pools.
Distinct from StageDepotAuroraPoolProps, which sizes a JDBC connection pool.
Properties
dbPoolQueueCapacity?
readonlyoptionaldbPoolQueueCapacity?:number
Defined in: packages/depot-cdk/src/stage-depot-environment.ts:357
Bounded queue capacity shared by the depot-dbfetch and depot-dbconn pools
(DEPOT_DB_POOL_QUEUE_CAPACITY). The Connector defaults to 0, which gives both pools a
SynchronousQueue — so their queue-depth metrics read 0 and the /echo saturation gate cannot
fire for them. Set a positive value to give them a real queue.
depotWorker?
readonlyoptionaldepotWorker?:StageDepotThreadPoolProps
Defined in: packages/depot-cdk/src/stage-depot-environment.ts:367
depot-worker: request processing and response building.
threads maps to DEPOT_WORKER_THREADS, where 0 means derive from the CPU count
(twice the available processors) rather than "no threads". Omit the property, or pass 0, to
keep that behaviour. queueCapacity maps to DEPOT_WORKER_QUEUE_CAPACITY, default 1000, and
is what the queue-depth alarm is sized against.
syncIo?
readonlyoptionalsyncIo?:StageDepotThreadPoolProps
Defined in: packages/depot-cdk/src/stage-depot-environment.ts:376
depot-syncio: blocking I/O reached from a request thread, kept off depot-worker.
threads maps to DEPOT_SYNC_IO_THREADS (default 8) and caps concurrent blocking calls;
queueCapacity maps to DEPOT_SYNC_IO_QUEUE_CAPACITY (default 1000) and absorbs a cold
start. A persistently deep queue means too few threads, not too small a queue.
